Bathroom renovations in Noosa North Shore and the river crossing
A small community across the water
The locality had 253 people at the 2021 Census, up from 179 in 2016. The median age was 55, and 61.3% of private dwellings were unoccupied on census night. The Coral Sea forms the eastern edge, with the Noosa River and Lake Cootharaba on the other sides. The area takes in many sections of the Great Sandy National Park and the small town of Teewah.
Getting trades and materials across
There is no road or bridge, and no plans to add one. The vehicle ferry runs from the river end of Moorindil Street, Tewantin, across to Maximillion Road, approximately every 10 minutes. Every delivery, trade visit and load of demolition waste fits around that crossing. Noosa Council's Coastal Hazards Adaptation Plan also names Noosa North Shore in its coastal erosion review, and lists storm tide inundation among the hazards it covers.
Why the planning pays off
A missed item on the Tewantin side costs a crossing and part of a working day. With most homes empty for long periods, a bathroom fault can also sit unnoticed between visits. Getting drainage, a licensed plumber's work and a ducted bathroom exhaust fan right the first time matters more here than in a street where a neighbour would spot a leak.
How we run a job over the river
We walk the house with you, measure once and produce a complete materials schedule. Deliveries are bundled, trades are grouped so they share runs, and strip-out waste leaves on planned trips. For a bathroom renovation in Noosa North Shore we also look at vehicle access from Maximillion Road to your driveway, so nothing arrives that cannot reach the house.
